The fourth book in the Aldoran chronicles came out recently, and at the start it says you have to read this book first, so I read this book first. It was solid middle grade fantasy, and it is cool to learn about Aryion’s backstory, but the target audience is a little young for me. I was surprised how far into the story it got before he actually got banished (Spoilers maybe? It is the title)
