I have all 5 books in a single audiobook. This sucks sucky sucks sucks. It is a somewhat interesting premise, and the set up in the first book isn’t bad, but wow does this just suck. The dialogue between characters makes me want to cut my ears off. Every few minutes the narrator stops and reads through the entire stat block even though there was only one change (and reading through it takes like 5 minutes). Somehow the books kept getting worse as the series went on. You think you hit rock bottom but then all of a sudden they keep falling. I hate this. I wish I had it in my heart to DNF stuff. 50 hours of my life I will never get back. Truly heartbreaking.
