Had to read this for class but it was good. It almost felt like a work of fiction since so much cool stuff happened in his life. Like he just casually talks about meeting and befriending J. R. R. Tolkien. I think this man was a genius, he also only spent one chapter on serving in WW1, like that seems like it would have more than a 1 chapter impact. Out of the 15 chapters I think he turned 20 in like chapter 14, so it is very focused on his young life.
