The best GrimDark fantasy I have ever read, and I don't really like that subgenre but this book is still awesome. Takes a little while to heat up and get you engrossed in the world but by the end I think I understand the politics and intrigue of this world more than I ever will about our own. This book is a counter example to the one where I complained about multiple POV’s. Glokta is going to have a redemption arc in books 2 and 3 I have faith in him.
