Still good but the worst book in the series, a lot of meaningless walking around the countryside. Felt like it could have been a lot shorter. The climax started with 10 hours left though so exciting ending. I did climb a mountain while listening to it though so that is cool.

Summary

A lot of wandering around the country side with our different groups almost meeting or mixing and matching a bit before finally all of the armies gather at the Atonement tree outside Amydon. Val-Draken reveals himself to be “The Dragon” and leads the Urgals and Vale armies. Aeros Raijel still thinks he is the Angel Prince, even after revealing him and Val-Draken both studied as Bloodwoods under Black Dougal’s tutelage. He is killed easily and tortured, then the 5 dragons arrive, Lindholf and Lorie are named as Laijon Returned and given the weapons and stones, and a ton of people die. All of our heroes live but are separated, and eventually fight back to each other and kill some dragons and dragon riders. Gault Dies, Big Hammer guy dies, Tala killes Lindholf and Lorie dies of infection but they get resurrected as a demon thing and then killed again. Tala ends up as ruler of the five isles and works to integrate all the different species.
