I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed this. Regardless of when it was released and genre it is a super solid book, with those things considered it is incredible. The writing feels so much more modern than I would have expected and the romance is prevalent without being annoying. Compared to most older works the information and pacing feel normal and the conversations flow well to a modern ear.
