Alex Roth and his Sister Selina live in Aleric in Thameland, And their parents died when they were young. They grew up with the Lu family, and Alex has a crush on Theresa. She has a cerberus dog named Brutus. Alex gets the mark of the fool, a heroes mark from Uldar meant to fight the Ravener. It messes with magic but he wants to be a wizard. They leave through the cave of the traveller and Alex learns he can control Dungeon Cores made by the Revener. He goes to Generasi to steady at wizard school and makes friends with Khalik, Isolde, and TRhundar and gets better at everything. The Mark fo the fool helps you practice but messes with combat and magic. HE improves a lot.
